HISTORY

1959	Shigeo Sano, established Shinnihon Printing, Inc. at its present location.
1963	Installed the new Heidelberg kiku two-cut KSB type letterpress printing machine.
1965	Installed the new Heidelberg kiku two-cut Offset Printing Unit No. 1 “KORD".
1973	Installed the new kiku two-cut four-color printing machine, SOLNA425.
1976	Toshikazu Sano joined as Representative Director and as the Senior Managing Officer.
1978	Increased capital to 45.6 million yen. Installed the new kikuzen four-color printing machine, DAIYA-II-4.
1983	Opened the Osaka Sales Office.
1985	Introduced Fujitsu's computers for the accounting department.
1986	Installed a new "A"-size color scanner, SG688. Installed additional kiku two-cut five-color printing machine, DAIYA-1E-5. Launched the printing for prepaid cards.
1987	Opened the Tokyo Sales Office (Aoyama 1-chome). Launched sales of the telecard mail. Established CCS Co., Ltd. . Moved the Tokyo Sales Office to Ginza 3-chome.
1988	Installed a new computerized typesetting system by Sakuto of Shaken. In-house magazine "SAITA SAITA" launched.
1989	Installed the new duodecimo four-color printing machine, DAIYA-4F-4. Toshikazu Sano was titled as President and CEO. 30th anniversary • New company building completed • foundation Triple party as office president held. Installed a new Scitex response system.
1991	Installed the additional kikuzen four-color printing machine, DAIYA-3F-4. Completed "IBM process management system" to make the entire company OA. Installed a new Macintosh design system.
1992	Installed the new ISDN1500 optical communication system between Tokyo and Takamatsu.
1993	Installed additional five Cytex Assemblers.
1996	Installed the first Heidelberg QM DI-46 (digital printing press) to be imported into Japan. Installed an additional Heidelberg kiku four-cut five-color UV printing machine, GTOF. Promoted to the Osaka Sales Office (branch office).
1997	Completed construction of our own building in Tsukiji, Tokyo. Promoted to the Tokyo branch, CCS also relocated. Installed the new kiku two-cut four-color Heidelberg SM-66-4. Installed the new kiku two-cut five-color Heidelberg SM-66-5. Installed the new kiku four-cut four-color printing machine SM-52-4. Installed the new offset inversion machine, Lithopia BT2-8000 at the Tokyo branch.
2000	Installed the new Luxel CTP (5 units), Luxel SPEEDPROOF8000 (DDCP 3 units) in Tokyo, Osaka, and Takamatsu. Installed the new G-TRAX communication system between Tokyo, Osaka, and Takamatsu. Installed the new DAIYA405 duodecimo five-color printing machine. Installed the new Heidelberg SM-74-4L kiku two-cut four-color UV printing machine. Installed the new Heidelberg SM-102-8 kikuzen eight-color printing machine. Acquired quality management system accreditation ISO9001.
2001	Opened the Okayama Office.
2002	Acquired environmental management system accreditation ISO14001.
2003	Installed the second new offset inversion machine LITHOPIA-MAX BT2-800SD.
2005	Completed the first-phase construction of the Haneda Tokyo Plant. Waterless printing started. Installed an additional Heidelberg SM102-8-P(Waterless specification machine).
2006	Completed the construction of the Haneda Tokyo Plant. Installed the new "A"-size landscape two-sided offset rotary press, SYSTEM38S(waterless specification machine) and "B"-size portrait half-cut two-sided offset rotary press, SYSTEM35S (waterless specification machine) . Acquired the certification for Privacy Mark. Exhibited at "Eco Products 2006”.
2007	Company-wide acquisition of COC (Processing Distribution Process) certification of FSC Forest Management Council.
2009	Acquired the environmental rating from the Development Bank of Japan Inc. . Published the 50th anniversary magazine "I ran only dream".
2010	Introduced Dainippon Screen workflow RIP, Trueflow SE at three locations. Exhibited at the New Environmental Exposition 2010 (Global Warming Prevention Pavilion). Acquired the Green Printing Certification for the Haneda Tokyo Plant. Moved to the Osaka branch office building (SNP Create Tower). Installed the new Fuji Xerox Color 1000 Press at the Osaka branch.
2011	Installed the new Horizon cutting, folding, stitching, perfect binding machine at the Osaka branch. Installed the new Heidelberg SM74 kiku two-cut four-color waterless UV printing machine at the Osaka branch. The Haneda Tokyo Plant received the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award for the 10th Printing Industry Environmental Excellence Plant Awards.
2013	Installed the new Komori LA-537 “A”-size five-color LED UV printing machine at the Tokyo banch. Installed the new Heidelberg SMCX102 kikuzen five-color LED UV printing machine at the Haneda Tokyo Plant.
2014	Installed the new Heidelberg SMSX102 kikuzen eight-color LED UV printing machine in the head office (Takamatsu). Won at the "Sunport Takamatsu triathlon" company counter-relay.
2015	Installed the new Heidelberg POLAR N115PLUS cutting machine at the Haneda Tokyo Plant.
2017	Introduced the SCREEN workflow RIP EQUIOS at three bases.
2018	Toshikazu Sano assumes the position of Representative Director and Chairman. Asami Sano assumes the position of Representative Director and President. Acquired 100% of the shares of Koyo Art Print Co., Ltd. to become a subsidiary. SNP 60th anniversary and succession reception was held.
2019	Japan WPA “Carbon Offset 6,000 tons Commemoration Excellent Company Award Ceremony” is seen as the highest award.
2020	SNP has been registered as a “Clear Sky Supporter” which is an air quality improvement promotion project created by the Tokyo Metropolitan Environment Bureau.
