SNP’s greenhouse gas reduction targets have been approved by SBTi, an international initiative, as targets consistent with the Paris Agreement’s 2.0°C target, and SNP has been certified as an SBT (SMEs).
SNP will further promote efforts to realize a decarbonized society with a sustainable future by setting a numerical target for greenhouse gas reduction in 2030. This is based on scientific evidence, and we will develop and implement a roadmap to achieve the target.

On May 1, 2021, Kagawa Prefecture announced the recipients of the Constitution Day Governor’s Commendation to honor those who have contributed to the development of the prefecture over the years in various fields.
Our Chairman, Toshikazu Sano, received the award for sports distinguished service in recognition of his contribution to the promotion of sports in Kagawa Prefecture by overseeing the prefectural sports organizations as an officer of the prefectural sports association and striving for the development of various sports and improvement of athletic performance.
In 2014, he received the “Meritorious Service to Commerce and Industry Organization” award for his efforts in stabilizing the management of companies and fostering future generations as the chairman of the prefectural printing industry association and executive director of the prefectural Federation of Business Associations, and this is the second time he has received this award.

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have developed “EATITH”, a hand mask for dinners. EATITH is an item that covers the mouth during conversation during meals, preventing droplets with a simple movement that is easier than putting on and taking off a mask. The EATITH can be used as a “new manners” for dining and as an infection control measure in restaurants to enjoy dining in peace.

SNP has been registered as a “Clear Sky Supporter” which is an air quality improvement promotion project created by the Tokyo Metropolitan Environment Bureau. As a company that paves the way for environmental printing, we have been the first to reduce volatile organic compound (VOC), that contributes to air pollution. Based on these achievements, this project has been registered as a “Clear Sky Supporter” by the Tokyo Metropolitan Environment Bureau. We will continue to actively promote such environmentally friendly corporate activities.

Carbon offset is one method that we carry out on our part to solve environmental problems.
We won the highest award in Japan as the company that contributed the most for CO2 reduction amount at the “carbon offset 6,000 tons achievement commemorative award ceremony” of the Japan WPA (Japan Waterless Printing Association) on June 6, 2019.
